say anything

I love all the sweet, witty and silly things my little one's say.  So that we can always remember these moments, we are documenting their words here...

In no particular order or timeline

Lexie (age 2): "I can pee like a big boy, too!"

Jacob (age 9 1/2): "Maddie, you should thank me for being alive."
Maddie (age 7 1/2): "Why?"
Jacob: "Because, if I hadn't been so cute as a baby they wouldn't have wanted any more kids."

Maddie: "Hamblerger" - she said this up until 1st Grade

Mommy: "Lexie, what do you want for Christmas?"
Lexie (age 3): "makeup, a screwdriver and pink makeup." (age 3)

Lexie (age 2 3/4): "I don't like strawberries (she is allergic), but I love chocolate!  I eat all my chocolate like a good girl!" (age 2)

Jacob (age 9): "What do you think would happen if you soaked chicken nuggets in ketchup and then baked them?"

Lexie (age 2 3/4): refers to freckles as "polka dots"

Jacob (age 7): "I would turn invisible so I could sneak food" - when asked which one super power he would choose

Jacob (age 9 3/4): "I hate green beans"
Madison (age 7 1/2): "Does Seth (Jake's best friend) like green beans?"
Jacob: "I don't know"
Madison: "You don't know if your best friend likes green beans or not?!"
Jacob: "Well, does Sarah (Madison's best friend) like green beans?"
Madison: pause
Mom: "Madison, this is when you say, 'touche' "

Dad: "Madison, sit down on the couch"
Madison: "Why doesn't Jake have to sit on the couch?"
Dad: "Because Jake isn't doing the sleeping zombie dance"
